Last week our joyschool group went to Jaker’s pumpkin patch right here in town. It has a super cute kid-sized maze, and pick-your-own pumpkin for a dollar. I thought Sam would love love love it . . . until he woke up that morning the sickest he had been all week. He made it about 15 minutes before he was crying to go home and lie down. He did enjoy those few minutes as he ran around the maze, climbed the hay bales, chose his very own pumpkin, and watched all the construction going on down the street.
