In Like a Lion

The sun has stayed, the snow has stayed away, but the cold had to come back.  Not miserable-teeth-shattering cold, just please-can-it-get-warmer-than-38 cold.  It has also been ridiculously windy, and today was no exception.  But we didn’t let it stop us.

On our way I was trying to get the picture when the little ears on Sam’s hat were standing straight up.  It was that windy.

Wheee or Woof Sam has gotten so good at going down the slides all by himself.  He almost always says, “Wheeee” as he goes down.  This time a dog ran by, so he was saying “Woof woof.”

Up slide Sam also likes to climb up the slides.  I was impressed he made it all the way up this one without any help.

Mirror Mirror After staring at his cute little self, Sam decided to book it for the swings . . .

Booking it And I mean BOOK it!!

And while I’m here, arm twisted and all, I’ll post a few more pics that have been sitting on my camera.

Sam has discovered a completely and entirely new way to play . . .

New play I call it SITTING DOWN!  Who knew, after 15 1/2 months Mr. Sammers would finally figure out how it worked.  We see him sitting and playing often now.  Seriously, who knew?!

I gave Sam chocolate one day.

Chocolate I think he liked it.

Sam also loves reading.  When I come in to his room in the morning or after nap time, Sam points to his books and whines, “Booh, booh” until I give him a few.

Reading

Love Reading Uh oh.  Sam has Quasimodo eyes like me!

The Bum  Seriously, that little bum!  I cannot even explain what it does to me.
