Naptime and a Runny Nose. My Big Boy and Skinny Baby Woes.
This is how I found Sam sleeping a few afternoons ago. As precious as nap time is, I couldn’t resist the urge to flash a camera in his face while he slept, even at the risk of waking him up. Ephemeral moments like these are too cute to pass up.
Sam has a cold. No fun. He hates having his nose wiped. That doesn’t keep him away from the tissues a whole 37 seconds later. At least he’ll wipe his own nose. Oh, wait, that’s not what he’s doing.
Samuel has been holding his own cup for a long time now, but I realized this morning I had never taken a picture of it. So here you go.
I get so annoyed every time I go clothes shopping for Sam. Nowhere, NOWHERE, makes baby clothes for tall, skinny babies. If I want Sam’s ankles covered, it’s opens up the possiblity of not having his bum covered. Case in point. (Although, this picture is not the one I intended to get. I was getting ready and Sam was playing in my closet. I peeked in to check on him, and found him standing and trying to pull a shirt off the hanger. His pants were around his ankles. By the time I ran downstairs and back to get the camera, Sam had moved on to my makeup.)
Seriously, guess who’s getting his hair cut this weekeeeeend?!?!

Oh sad! I’m sorry Sam has a cold! He must be keeping you soooo busy! How in the world did he get the blanket wrapped around his head?! That’s so funny! Thanksgiving Point sounds awesome, just let me know when you guys can go. The next two weekends are busy for us and I work until 4 or so Saturdays but let me know and we’ll go!

Oh wow, those are such cute naptime pictures! Thanks for the comment on my blog, it makes me feel good just to know that she’s normal, and hopefully can correct her sleep patterns herself, eventually! So, you know that Men’s clothing store Big and Tall, they should have a little baby line, called Skinny & Tall.

How cute-I love sleeping baby pictures. I can’t believe how fast he’s growing up.
Oh yeah, and if you cut his hair, it will really make him look like he’s grown up. Every time I cut Tyler’s he looks so much older – it’s quite sad! I’m never cutting Brooke’s – but, she’s a girl, so I don’t have to.
Also, when Sam gets older, you can find slim pants for him. But, I’ve only seen them as small as a 4 slim – I have to buy slims for Chris STILL!

Oh, girl. I know how terrible colds are now! Brighton has one right now and has gotten an ear infection, too. They only good part is the first day she snuggled in my arms the whole day. Now she is just frustrated. Hey, and I also agree on the skinny line of baby clothes. I mean you and your hubby are lean and so are Mitch and I…so are kids aren’t going to be chubbers even when they’re healthy. I always have to roll up Brighton’s pants.
